An opportunity is available for two travel pharmacists to provide inpatient pharmacy services at a large 500-bed hospital with a progressive pharmacy department. This role offers a dynamic environment supporting comprehensive medication management and patient care.

Location: Visalia, CA
Job Type: Travel (13 weeks +)
Schedule: Variable days and afternoons, 10-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

• Verify inpatient medication orders with accuracy and efficiency
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow and compliance
• Conduct pharmacokinetic evaluations and monitor therapy outcomes
• Collaborate closely with healthcare team members to optimize medication use
• Utilize Cerner pharmacy information system to support clinical and operational tasks

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active California pharmacist license required
• Solid inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Full-time availability to cover variable shifts is essential
• Familiarity with Cerner pharmacy IT systems considered a strong asset
