Travel Hospital Pharmacist | Green Bay, Wisconsin

This travel pharmacist opportunity is based at a 75-bed hospital in Medford, WI, offering a dynamic environment to apply your inpatient and outpatient pharmacy skills. The role demands proficiency in handling multiple responsibilities within a central inpatient pharmacy, including verifying EPIC orders, reviewing technician work, and addressing pharmacist phone inquiries.

Schedule:

• Primarily 10-hour day shifts
• Rotating weekends: 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and verify EPIC orders accurately
• Oversee technician workflow and validate their accuracy
• Dispense inpatient and outpatient IV medications
• Handle inpatient unit dose medications and outpatient chemotherapy
• Support diverse clinical areas including Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, emergency department, outpatient oncology, and surgery units
• Maintain patient care with an inpatient census of approximately 30-40

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with hospital pharmacy experience required
• Familiarity with EPIC pharmacy systems preferred
• Comfortable managing a broad range of inpatient and outpatient medications, including chemotherapy and IVs
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
