Travel Inpatient Pharmacist | Greenfield, Indiana

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 250-bed community hospital in Northern Indiana, offering a 13-week assignment with the option to extend. This role supports inpatient pharmacy operations by providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care and collaboration with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Consulting with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapy and patient care
• Performing pharmacokinetic assessments and monitoring therapeutic drug levels
• Maintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

The work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week on second shift hours (1:00 pm to 10:30 pm), with potential flexibility for a 7-on/7-off rotation.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Indiana pharmacist license is required
• Experience working in a hospital inpatient pharmacy setting
• Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacy practices
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
• Detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Location: Greenfield, Indiana, with assignment based at a nearby hospital in Mishawaka, Indiana.
