Per Diem Retail Pharmacist | Greensboro, North Carolina

An opening opportunity is available for a skilled retail pharmacist to provide support in a pharmacy operation located in Greensboro, NC. This per diem position offers immediate coverage needs, with the possibility of long-term engagement or a permanent full-time role. It is ideal for a retail pharmacist seeking to expand their expertise into the home infusion pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and verifying medication orders for infusion therapies
• Overseeing the preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications
• Ensuring adherence to USP <797> and <800> standards for sterile compounding
• Providing clinical support and drug information to pharmacy staff and patients
• Collaborating with the pharmacy team to maintain smooth workflow and patient safety
• Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements

Schedule/Shift:

• Immediate coverage needed on April 8, April 9, and April 10
• Minimum two days coverage required during the week of April 27 through May 1
• Additional dates expected weekly, with a few days each week to be confirmed

Desired Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent retail pharmacy experience
• Experience with sterile compounding preferred but not required
• Familiarity with USP <797> and <800> guidelines
• Proven ability to work independently and adapt to changing needs quickly
