Retail IV Compounding Pharmacist | Greensboro, North Carolina

This position offers an opportunity for a skilled pharmacist to work in a specialty retail setting focused on both sterile and non-sterile compounding. The role involves daily responsibilities in medication order entry and patient care, with training provided for the specific order entry system used.

Location:

• Greensboro, NC

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• One-hour lunch break

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately in a specialty retail pharmacy environment
• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding in compliance with regulatory standards
• Enter prescription orders using the PK system (training provided)
• Counsel patients on medication usage and safety
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina pharmacy license
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience
• Experience with sterile compounding preferred
• Experience with non-sterile compounding a plus
• Ability to learn new order entry systems and pharmacy software
