A retail pharmacist position is available on a direct hire basis in York, PA, working full-time with a well-known grocery store chain pharmacy.

Location:

• York, PA

Schedule:

• Variable day and afternoon shifts
• Full-time hours

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to control inventory, track weekly sales, and order pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand and maximize profits
• Accurately weigh, measure, mix, and dispense drugs and medical compounds along with non-prescription medications
• Provide advice to self-medicating patients and maintain communication with healthcare and insurance professionals
• Administer patient immunizations regularly
• Assume pharmacy manager duties as needed, including scheduling associates, managing performance, assigning work, and supporting company profit objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Pennsylvania Immunization License preferred
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work variable shifts in a retail pharmacy setting
