Per Diem Pharmacist | Haxtun, Colorado

This opportunity is for a Per Diem Pharmacist position based in Haxtun, Colorado, providing coverage from September 21st through September 25th. The role supports a retail pharmacy affiliated with a hospital, with an average volume of approximately 500 prescriptions per week.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing patient counseling to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Filling and dispensing medications accurately
• Performing final verifications on prescriptions
• Managing daily pharmacy operations independently, treating the pharmacy as your own

The pharmacy team consists of two full-time pharmacy technicians and one PRN pharmacist who is rarely onsite, so strong self-management skills are essential.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Includes a 1-hour lunch break

Qualifications sought:

• Active and clear Colorado Pharmacist license
• Recent pharmacist experience preferred
• New pharmacy graduates are welcome to apply
