Retail Pharmacist | Hermosa, South Dakota
A retail pharmacy located inside a grocery store in South Dakota is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a 13+ week contract assignment. This role offers the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment, supporting daily pharmacy operations while delivering excellent patient care.
Schedule:
- MondayFriday: 9:00 AM7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill and verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety
- Review and validate work performed by pharmacy technicians
- Provide thorough patient counseling and answer medication-related questions
- Manage pharmacy and patient phone communications efficiently
- Assist with daily retail pharmacy operations and inventory management
- Support the Pharmacist-in-Charge with additional duties as required
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active South Dakota Pharmacist license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
- Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on patient service
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the pharmacy team
This contract role offers competitive compensation starting at $60+ per hour, based on experience.
