Per Diem Retail Pharmacist - High Point, North Carolina

An opportunity is available for a skilled retail Pharmacist to provide per diem coverage in Greensboro, NC. This role is suited for a retail pharmacist eager to expand their expertise into home infusion pharmacy services. Immediate availability is essential, with potential for long-term engagement or permanent employment.

Responsibilities include reviewing and verifying medication orders specifically for infusion therapies, overseeing the preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications, and ensuring all practices align with USP <797> and <800> standards. The pharmacist will also provide clinical support and drug information to both staff and patients, collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain a seamless workflow, and uphold patient safety. Accurate documentation and strict regulatory compliance are critical components of this role.

Schedule/Shift:

• Immediate coverage needed on April 8, 9, and 10
• Minimum two days during the week of April 27 May 1
• Additional shifts expected intermittently each week

Qualifications:

• Active and valid North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• Sterile compounding experience preferred but not mandatory
• Knowledge of USP <797> and <800> guidelines
• Strong ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing environments
