A pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist skilled in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role offers a blend of staffing and clinical/decentralized responsibilities, providing a dynamic work environment within a hospital inpatient and outpatient clinic setting.

Schedule:

• Day shifts
• Immediate start
• Contract duration: 13 weeks or longer

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently for inpatient and outpatient areas
• Provide clinical pharmacy services, collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient care
• Utilize IT systems such as Cerner and Pyxis to manage medication orders and inventory
• Support decentralized pharmacy operations, including patient counseling and clinical interventions

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Oregon Pharmacist License
• Proven experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy and clinical pharmacy practices
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Cerner
• Knowledge of automated medication dispensing systems like Pyxis
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
