Travel Outpatient Retail Pharmacist in Hillsboro, OR

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available in Klamath Falls, OR, supporting outpatient and retail pharmacy operations. This role offers a chance to work with a health system that operates multiple pharmacy locations within close proximity, requiring some floating between sites.

Location: Klamath Falls, Oregon
Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM 7:15 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM 5:15 PM (some Saturdays required)
  Duration: 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and accurately fill prescriptions while ensuring compliance with regulations
• Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians
• Counsel patients regarding prescription and over-the-counter medications to optimize therapeutic outcomes
• Support outpatient and retail pharmacy services to meet the needs of the community
• Float between pharmacy locations within approximately 5 miles as needed to assist with workflow

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Oregon
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy practice experience, preferably in outpatient or retail settings
• Ability to work full-time schedule including weekends as noted
• Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach
• Comfortable managing multiple pharmacy locations with some travel between them
