A 13-week night pharmacist opportunity is available at a 230-bed acute care hospital in Yakima, WA, with potential to transition to a permanent role. This contract position requires reliability and a commitment to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care during 12-hour night shifts from 6 pm to 6 am on a 7-on, 7-off schedule.

Ideal candidates will hold a valid Washington State pharmacist license, possess hospital pharmacy experience, and be comfortable working night hours. Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders with accuracy and timeliness
• Supervising and supporting pharmacy technicians during the night shift
• Consulting effectively with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient medication management
• Applying pharmacokinetic principles to individualize patient drug therapy
