A well-established childrens hospital in Hollywood, FL is seeking two inpatient pharmacists to provide critical support within a pediatric inpatient setting. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks, starting on August 25th, offering two different shift options to fit varying schedules.

Location:

  • Hollywood, FL, conveniently situated between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale

Shift Options:

  • First shift: 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, rotating weekends, 5x8-hour shifts
  • Overnight shift: 11:00 PM to 7:15 AM, rotating weekends, 5x8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage typical inpatient pharmacy duties with a focus on pediatric dosing
  • Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system effectively
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure safe and accurate medication administration for pediatric patients

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Florida pharmacist license in good standing
  • Prior experience in pediatric and NICU pharmacy preferred; candidates should demonstrate relevant duties on their resumes
  • Strong knowledge of inpatient hospital pharmacy protocols and pediatric medication requirements
