Per Diem Pharmacist | Holyoke, Colorado

A retail pharmacy affiliated with a hospital is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care during a short-term coverage assignment from September 21st through September 25th. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists who thrive in managing daily operations and delivering patient-centered services in a well-supported environment.

Located in a welcoming community, the pharmacy processes approximately 500 prescriptions per week and relies on an experienced pharmacist to lead daily functions with the assistance of two full-time pharmacy technicians and occasional PRN pharmacist support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and safety.
• Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions.
• Perform final verification of all medication orders.
• Independently manage pharmacy operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Colorado Pharmacist license.
• Recent pharmacy practice experience preferred.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive supportive onboarding.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.
