Verification Pharmacist | Houston, TX

Schedule: MondayFriday, 9:00 AM5:30 PM; weekends as needed


Requirements

  • Active Texas pharmacist license in good standing.
  • Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school.
  • 1+ year of pharmacist experience.
  • Prescription verification experience required.
  • Compounding experience and knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, and <800> preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Experience with closed-door, specialty, mail-order, or high-volume pharmacy settings is a plus. Lifefile or similar pharmacy software experience is also preferred.


Key Duties: Final verification of compounded prescriptions, medication safety reviews, discrepancy resolution, technician support, and regulatory compliance.
