Per Diem Retail Pharmacist | Huntersville, North Carolina

A pharmacy in the Charlotte, NC area is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide ongoing PTO coverage on a PRN basis. This per diem role offers flexibility with future coverage opportunities, starting with an upcoming shift on August 7, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The pharmacist will play a key role in supporting safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations while delivering quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness to ensure patient safety
• Provide light patient counseling, focusing primarily on blood pressure medications
• Support daily pharmacy operations during the scheduled shifts
• Maintain a dependable, professional demeanor while assisting patients and staff

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in good standing for the state of North Carolina
• Experience verifying and dispensing prescriptions in a retail pharmacy setting
• Comfortable providing patient counseling, particularly related to blood pressure medications
• Strong attention to detail and professionalism
• Reliable and available for ongoing PRN coverage as needed
