Seeking an experienced Pharmacist to oversee operations and ensure compliance as Pharmacist in Charge at a pharmacy in Abilene, TX. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers the chance to lead a team and advance professionally while utilizing your compounding expertise in both sterile and non-sterile preparations.

Location: Abilene, TX
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Pharmacist in Charge, managing daily pharmacy operations and team leadership
• Prepare and supervise sterile and non-sterile compounded medications, ensuring accuracy and safety
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Foster professional growth and development within the pharmacy team

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Texas Pharmacist License required
• Willingness to obtain multiple state licenses over time
• Minimum of 1 year pharmacy experience, including compounding skills (sterile and non-sterile)
• Previous experience as Pharmacist in Charge preferred
