A pharmacy professional with expertise in both sterile and non-sterile compounding is needed for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Abilene, TX. This position requires leadership experience as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) and offers the chance to grow within the role.

Location:

• Abilene, TX

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Serve as Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing daily pharmacy operations
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Prepare and verify sterile and non-sterile compounded medications
• Lead and mentor the pharmacy team to maintain high-quality service
• Coordinate licensing requirements, including obtaining multiple state licenses over time

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacist License
• Willingness to acquire additional state licenses as needed
• Minimum of one year experience as a licensed Pharmacist
• Experience with sterile and non-sterile compounding techniques
• Previous experience as Pharmacist in Charge preferred
• Strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to team management
