Mail Order Pharmacist in Charge - Atlantic City, NJ

A non-sterile compounding mail-order pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to join their team in either Gilbert, AZ or West Egg Township/Galloway, NJ. This is a direct hire position requiring a hands-on pharmacist comfortable with dispensing, patient counseling, pharmacy operations, and regulatory compliance in a growing environment.

This working PIC role involves active supervision of pharmacy staff while ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations for a 503A facility. The company currently has a PIC based in NJ and prefers candidates with West Coast licensure to support national expansion.

Location:

• Gilbert, AZ
• West Egg Township / Galloway, NJ

Schedule:

• MondayFriday, 9:00 AM5:00 PM
• Possible weekend coverage as business expands

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescriptions and deliver patient counseling
• Supervise pharmacy personnel and maintain SOPs, USP <795>/<800>, and FDA 503A regulatory compliance
• Manage inventory control, including controlled substances and required documentation
• Address patient inquiries with excellent customer service
• Ensure regulatory compliance across multiple state jurisdictions

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in AZ or NJ (location-dependent)
• 35 years of total pharmacy experience
• Strong preference for mail-order, outpatient, community, or compounding pharmacy background
• Comfortable serving as a working PIC with management experience preferred
• In-depth knowledge of state/federal regulations for 503A compounding pharmacies
• West Coast licenses (CA, NM, TX, NV, UT, OR, WA, CO) highly preferred to aid in national coverage expansion
• PioneerRx experience is a plus, but training is available
• Must be local to the specified locations; relocation is not currently supported
