A leading compounding pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to oversee pharmacist operations, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance within a specialized animal health environment.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on sterile compounding expertise with proven leadership experience and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of pharmacy practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of pharmacist staff
• Ensure compliance with USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards
• Support quality assurance and process improvement initiatives
• Oversee training, competency, and operational documentation
• Guide workflow management and staffing priorities
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with leadership to achieve operational goals

Qualifications

• Current California Pharmacist license
• BS Pharmacy or PharmD
• 2+ years of pharmacy supervisory or management experience
• 2+ years of sterile compounding experience
• Strong understanding of USP standards, pharmacy regulations, and 503A compounding requirements
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities
