A leadership role is available for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge at a closed-door sterile compounding facility in Blue Diamond, NV. This direct hire position involves managing all aspects of pharmacy operations with a focus on compliance, quality assurance, and regulatory standards across multiple states.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge ensuring compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, FDA, and state pharmacy board regulations
  • Oversee sterile compounding workflows, personnel management, and quality assurance programs
  • Maintain and enforce Standard Operating Procedures for sterile compounding
  • Hire, supervise, and train pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
  • Manage pharmacy inspections, audits, and regulatory communications
  • Oversee environmental monitoring, validation, and documentation processes
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and dispensing of compounded sterile preparations
  • Collaborate with leadership on operational strategy, expansion, and licensing initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure inspection readiness at all times

Qualifications:

  • PharmD or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Active pharmacist license in Nevada and California (or in process of obtaining CA license)
  • Additional state licenses preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in sterile compounding, preferably with PIC or pharmacy management experience
  • Strong knowledge of USP <797>, USP <800>, and sterile compounding regulations
  • Experience managing multi-state pharmacy operations and non-resident licensure
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience in 503A or 503B environments is a plus

  • Blue Diamond, NV
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
