Retail Pharmacist in Charge in Citrus Heights, CA

An interim Pharmacist In Charge opportunity is available for an ASAP start with a contract duration of approximately 8 to 13 weeks. This role supports a busy retail pharmacy setting and requires a dedicated professional to oversee pharmacy operations in Citrus Heights, CA.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 10:00 a.m. 6:30 p.m.
• Saturday: 9:00 a.m. 5:30 p.m.
• Closed Sundays

Responsibilities include:

• Full cycle prescription processing and dispensing
• Communication with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients
• Managing and supervising pharmacy technicians
• Opening and closing pharmacy procedures
• Completing all required Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) paperwork

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience
• Prior experience as a retail Pharmacist In Charge strongly preferred
• California pharmacist license in-hand
• Immunization Certification and current BLS card required
• Familiarity with McKesson Enterprise (ERx) system
