IV Sterile Compounding IV Compounding Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Clyde, Texas
This position is designed for an experienced pharmacist with strong expertise in both sterile and non-sterile compounding. The role requires leadership capabilities as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) and offers the opportunity for professional growth within the organization. This contract-to-hire position is based in Abilene, TX.
Location: Abilene, TX
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing pharmacy operations and compliance
- Manage and perform both sterile and non-sterile compounding procedures
- Lead and mentor the pharmacy team to ensure high-quality service and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the pharmacy
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Texas Pharmacist license required
- Willingness to obtain multiple state licenses over time
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed pharmacist
- Proven experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding
- Prior experience as a Pharmacist in Charge preferred
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a dynamic team
