Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Coatesville, Pennsylvania
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge ready to lead and ensure compliance within a dynamic pharmacy setting. Serving as the legally designated PIC, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of pharmacy operations under multiple non-resident state licenses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of operational, ownership, facility, and PIC changes.
- Provide oversight of both sterile and non-sterile compounding operations.
- Lead quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Supervise pharmacists, compounding supervisors, technicians, and production staff.
- Manage daily batch record creation, review, and approval processes.
- Support production scheduling to meet delivery timelines and maintain inventory accuracy.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pharmacist in Charge or Pharmacy Manager.
- Extensive knowledge of USP standards and relevant state and federal regulations for 503A compounding operations.
- Proven experience in leading audits and handling regulatory inspections effectively.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Flexible availability on Saturdays if required.
