This role offers a unique opportunity to serve as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a growing mail order compounding pharmacy currently operating in Salt Lake City, UT, with plans to expand. The pharmacy specializes in 503A non-sterile compounding and is preparing to open a modern 7,000 sq ft facility offering sterile compounding later this year. This expansion will significantly increase capacity and volume, presenting ample room for professional growth and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
  • Manage mail order compounding processes, currently handling 1,000 prescriptions daily.
  • Lead and mentor a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to foster a positive, growth-oriented work environment.
  • Assist with scaling operations for upcoming facility expansion, including sterile compounding services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and quality assurance.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Pharmacist licensure in multiple states is required: AL, AR, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MS, NE, OH, OR, TN, TX, VA, WV. Ability to apply for Utah licensure upon hire.
  • Experience with mail order pharmacies, especially 503A non-sterile and sterile compounding.
  • Proven leadership skills with a focus on culture-building and operational growth.
  • Familiarity with Pioneer Rx system is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to train and support team members.

Location: Salt Lake City, UT (relocation assistance available)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
