Mail Order Pharmacist in Charge in Egg Harbor Township, NJ

A direct hire opportunity is available for a hands-on Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a growing non-sterile compounding mail-order pharmacy, with locations in Gilbert, AZ or West Egg Township/Galloway, NJ. This role requires a licensed pharmacist comfortable with dispensing, patient counseling, pharmacy operations, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a working PIC capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and provide thorough patient counseling.
• Supervise pharmacy staff while maintaining SOPs and compliance with USP <795>/<800> and FDA 503A regulations.
• Manage inventory control, including controlled substances and associated documentation.
• Address patient inquiries to uphold excellent customer service standards.
• Maintain compliance across state and federal regulations for the multi-state pharmacy operation.

Qualifications:

• Pharmacist licensed in AZ or NJ, aligned with the location of employment.
• 35 years of pharmacy experience, preferably in mail-order, outpatient, community, or compounding environments.
• Proven ability to operate effectively as a working PIC.
• Strong familiarity with state and federal regulatory requirements for a 503A facility.
• Previous PIC or pharmacy management experience is preferred.
• Experience with PioneerRx pharmacy system is a plus, though training is available.
• Licenses from West Coast states (CA, NM, TX, NV, UT, OR, WA, CO) are highly desirable to support national expansion.

Location:

• Gilbert, Arizona OR West Egg Township/Galloway, New Jersey
• Local candidates preferred; relocation is not currently approved.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Possible weekend coverage as the pharmacy expands.

This is a direct hire position offering an annual compensation range of approximately $145,000 to $156,000 DOE. Candidates with multi-state licenses and strong mail-order or compounding experience are especially encouraged to apply.
