Pharmacist in Charge in Essex Junction, VT

A new community pharmacy serving a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Wells River, VT is seeking a Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) to oversee daily operations. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist with FQHC experience who excels in provider communication and team leadership.

Location:

• Burlington, VT or Hanover, NH area preferred, supporting the Wells River pharmacy

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist In Charge, responsible for all aspects of pharmacy operations
• Oversee technician supervision and workflow management
• Ensure compliance with the 340B program and related regulations
• Maintain strong communication and collaboration with internal healthcare providers
• Utilize Best Rx pharmacy software for daily tasks and reporting

Qualifications:

• Current Vermont pharmacist license in good standing
• Previous experience working in an FQHC environment is required, emphasizing onsite provider collaboration
• Proven ability to manage provider communication effectively and build strong relationships
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster team cohesion and efficient operations
• Leadership experience in pharmacy operations, including staff management and compliance
