IV Sterile Compounding Mail Order Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Greenfield, Indiana
Lead the growth and operational excellence of a dynamic mail order pharmacy specializing in compounding medications, including peptides and GLP-1 therapies. This position requires a Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) with multi-state licensure to oversee a busy 503A non-sterile compounding environment and to prepare for an exciting transition into sterile compounding in a brand-new, expanding facility.
Location: Greenfield, IN, with primary operations in Salt Lake City, UT
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the PIC overseeing mail order pharmacy operations compliant with state and federal regulations
- Manage and motivate a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians while fostering a positive, growth-oriented culture
- Organize workflows and processes to support scaling from current volumes (~1,000 Rx/day) to future targets (up to 10,000 Rx/day)
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of compounding practices for non-sterile and upcoming sterile products
- Participate in training and onboarding, including 4-6 weeks onsite in Salt Lake City and monthly visits thereafter (remote PIC arrangement possible)
- Support multi-state licensure maintenance and apply for Utah licensure upon hire
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Current multi-state pharmacist licenses including AL, AR, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MS, NE, OH, OR, TN, TX, VA, WV (UT can be secured post-hire)
- Proven leadership experience as a Pharmacist in Charge
- Expertise in 503A non-sterile compounding; sterile compounding knowledge a plus
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to scale operations efficiently
- Experience with Pioneer Rx system preferred
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
