Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Kennett Square, Pennsylvania

This role is for a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) based in Kennett Square, PA, offering a 13-week contract to hire opportunity. The position requires a dedicated professional to oversee pharmacy operations and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple sites.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the legally designated PIC for all non-resident state pharmacy licenses, unless otherwise assigned
• Act as the primary point of contact for Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory agencies
• Ensure accurate reporting of operational changes, ownership transitions, facility modifications, or PIC changes
• Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards
• Lead quality assurance initiatives and continuous process improvements
• Supervise and guide pharmacists, compounding supervisors, technicians, and production personnel
• Manage daily batch record creation, execution, review, and approval
• Support production scheduling to achieve on-time delivery, accurate inventory, and efficient capacity planning

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 8:30 am 5:30 pm
• Flexible availability on Saturdays as needed

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a PIC or Pharmacy Manager
• Thorough knowledge of USP standards and relevant state/federal regulations governing 503A compounding operations
• Proven experience leading audits and managing regulatory inspections
