Mail Order Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Kissimmee, Florida
An opportunity is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge to provide essential leadership coverage during a 16-week paternity leave at a retail HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy. This role begins on August 24th, with a two-week training period alongside the current Pharmacist in Charge to ensure a smooth transition.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM 12:30 PM
Responsibilities include overseeing pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering exceptional patient care tailored to the HIV/AIDS patient population. The pharmacist will maintain strong communication with patients and healthcare providers, fostering a supportive environment and promoting positive health outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Florida Pharmacist license is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in retail pharmacy settings.
- Experience with HIV/AIDS medications must be clearly indicated on the resume.
- Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is highly preferred.
