Retail Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Manteca, California

An Interim Pharmacist In Charge position is available for immediate start in a retail pharmacy setting located near Sacramento/El Dorado Hills, CA. This 8-13 week contract opportunity offers a chance to lead daily pharmacy operations in a dynamic environment operating Monday through Saturday.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Sunday: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full cycle prescription processing and dispensing, including communication with providers, insurance companies, and patients.
• Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
• Conduct opening and closing procedures for the pharmacy.
• Complete all necessary Pharmacist In Charge paperwork in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience.
• Prior experience as a Pharmacist In Charge in a retail setting is highly preferred.
• Valid California pharmacist license (in-hand).
• Immunization certification required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency with McKesson Enterprise (ERx) system is essential.
• Ability to take on PIC responsibilities immediately.
