Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Media, Pennsylvania
This opportunity is available for a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead operations at a well-established facility, focusing on both sterile and non-sterile compounding processes. The role offers a 13-week contract-to-hire position based in Kennett Square, PA, with a schedule primarily from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, and occasional Saturdays as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the legally designated Pharmacist in Charge for all non-resident state pharmacy licenses, unless otherwise assigned.
- Act as the primary liaison for Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and other regulatory agencies.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of operational, ownership, facility, and PIC changes.
- Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding operations with a focus on quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Supervise pharmacists, compounding supervisors, technicians, and production staff.
- Manage daily batch record creation, review, execution, and approval.
- Support production scheduling to maintain on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and capacity planning.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Minimum of 5 years experience serving as a Pharmacist in Charge or Pharmacy Manager.
- In-depth knowledge of USP standards and applicable state and federal regulations related to 503A compounding operations.
- Proven experience leading audits and managing regulatory inspections.

Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
- Flexibility for Saturday shifts if needed
