Mail Order Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Mesa, Arizona

A growing non-sterile compounding mail-order pharmacy is seeking a working Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to join their team in either Gilbert, AZ or West Egg Township/Galloway, NJ. This direct hire position requires a hands-on professional who thrives in a dynamic pharmacy environment, overseeing dispensing, patient counseling, operations, and regulatory compliance to support the pharmacys continued growth and national expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescriptions accurately while providing thorough patient counseling
• Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure adherence to SOPs, USP <795>/<800> standards, and FDA 503A regulatory requirements
• Manage inventory control, including controlled substances and essential documentation
• Address patient inquiries with professionalism and excellent customer service
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations for multiple locations nationwide

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in either Arizona or New Jersey, based on geographic location (AZ or NJ)
• 3 to 5 years of pharmacy experience with a strong background in mail-order, outpatient, community, or compounding pharmacy settings
• Comfortable serving as a working PIC with solid knowledge of 503A facility regulatory standards
• Previous PIC or pharmacy management experience is highly preferred
• PioneerRx experience is a plus; training is available if needed
• West Coast licensure (CA, NM, TX, NV, UT, OR, WA, CO) is a significant advantage for supporting national operations

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Potential weekend coverage as business expands
