Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - North Las Vegas, Nevada
This direct hire opportunity seeks an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge to lead a specialized sterile compounding pharmacy in North Las Vegas, Nevada. The role requires a strong leader with in-depth knowledge of sterile compounding regulations and multi-state pharmacy operations, particularly involving California and other non-resident states.

- Monday Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC), ensuring full compliance with USP <797>, USP <795>, FDA, and state pharmacy board regulations
- Oversee all aspects of sterile compounding operations, including workflow management, personnel supervision, and quality assurance programs
- Maintain and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sterile compounding environments
- Hire, train, and manage pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
- Lead pharmacy inspections, audits, and regulatory correspondence to maintain inspection readiness
- Manage environmental monitoring, validation processes, and documentation efforts
- Guarantee proper handling, storage, and dispensing of compounded sterile preparations
- Collaborate with organizational leadership on strategic initiatives including operational expansion and licensing
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
- Active pharmacist licenses in Nevada and California (or completed California licensure process)
- Additional state licenses are highly preferred with willingness to obtain further licenses as needed
- Minimum of 3 years of sterile compounding experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience as a PIC or pharmacy manager preferred
- Thorough understanding of USP <797>, USP <795>, and sterile compounding regulations
- Experience managing multi-state pharmacy operations and non-resident licensure programs
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Background working in 503A or 503B compounding environments is a plus
