Mail Order Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) | Orlando, Florida

An opportunity is available for an Interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead operations at a retail specialty pharmacy focusing on HIV/AIDS medications. This role involves stepping in to cover a 16-week paternity leave, beginning with a two-week handover period alongside the current PIC to ensure a smooth transition.

• Orlando, FL

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM 12:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily pharmacy operations with a focus on HIV/AIDS specialty medications
• Ensure high-quality patient care and support through effective communication
• Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain strict adherence to pharmacy regulations and policies
• Lead and inspire pharmacy staff while consistently demonstrating punctuality and a positive attitude

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of one year experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• Demonstrated experience with HIV/AIDS medications must be clearly noted on resume
• Valid Florida pharmacist license
• Proficiency with QS1 pharmacy software is highly preferred; please confirm experience if applicable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and healthcare providers
• Dependability and commitment to daily attendance
