Retail Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Paradise, California

An interim leadership role is available for an experienced pharmacist to serve as Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) in a busy retail pharmacy setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to manage the full pharmacy operation, ensuring expert patient care and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle prescription processing and dispensing, coordinating with providers, insurance companies, and patients.
• Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
• Assume accountability for opening and closing the pharmacy facility.
• Complete all PIC-related paperwork and regulatory documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in retail pharmacy practice.
• Prior experience as a retail Pharmacist In Charge highly preferred.
• Possess a valid California pharmacist license.
• Immunization certification and current BLS card required.
• Proficiency with McKesson Enterprise (ERx) system is essential.

Schedule and Location:

• Position based in Chico, CA.
• Pharmacy hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Saturday & Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Contract duration of approximately 1213 weeks, starting Monday, June 22.
