Pharmacist In Charge Direct Hire Opportunity
Location: Hattiesburg, MS (Candidate likely based in Gulfport or Biloxi, MS)
Schedule: Monday Friday

An in-house pharmacy serving FQHCs has recently opened a new location in Hattiesburg, MS and is urgently seeking a skilled Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) to lead daily operations. This role combines clinical expertise with strong leadership, focusing on collaboration with healthcare providers and compliance management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist In Charge overseeing all pharmacy operations at the new site
• Manage and ensure compliance with the 340B drug pricing program
• Supervise pharmacy technicians while maintaining a high-performance team environment
• Maintain robust communication and collaboration with internal healthcare providers to support patient care
• Utilize Best Rx pharmacy system for daily workflow management

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active MS pharmacist license in good standing
• Proven prior experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in managing provider relationships
• Strong leadership capabilities to efficiently oversee staff and pharmacy processes
• Ability to operate independently with a focus on compliance and quality standards

This is a direct hire role offering an exciting leadership opportunity in a newly launched pharmacy environment, with a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $155,000 based on experience.
