A part-time Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) position is available at an opioid treatment center in Alexandria, Louisiana. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 5:00 AM 10:00 AM 20 hours per week
Responsibilities: Oversee all pharmacy operations as Pharmacist in Charge Conduct thorough chart reviews and ensure precise documentation Verify and fill prescriptions, stepping in when technician support is absent Complete internal reporting and recordkeeping using Microsoft Excel Guarantee adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations Operate independently with limited supervision and minimal patient interaction No billing or insurance duties involved
Qualifications: Active Louisiana pharmacist license in good standing with no disciplinary history 35 years of pharmacy practice experience Experience with substance abuse or opioid treatment preferred but not mandatory Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting purposes Ability to work autonomously and maintain compliance focus
