Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) New Providence, NJ

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to lead pharmacy compliance and operational oversight for an established specialty pharmacy. This is a direct-hire, on-site opportunity with a MondayFriday, 9:00 AM5:00 PM schedule and a salary of $135,000$140,000.

What Youll Do:

• Oversee pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations across multiple states.

• Manage prescription/order review, verification, dispensing, labeling, documentation, and shipping requirements.

• Maintain compliance with state Boards of Pharmacy, DEA regulations, licensing, inspections, and audits.

• Develop and maintain pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory documentation.

• Provide clinical oversight for enteral nutrition, DUR, adverse event reporting, and quality assurance.

• Work closely with clinical, operations, reimbursement, intake, HR, and compliance teams.

• Assist with accreditation, credentialing, audits, and occasional travel for facility oversight or regulatory matters.

What Were Looking For:

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy.

• Active, unrestricted NJ pharmacist license with the ability to obtain TN, NY, and MA licenses within 6 months.

• Active DEA registration.

• 35+ years of pharmacy experience, ideally in specialty, home infusion, or enteral/parenteral nutrition.

• Previous PIC or pharmacy management experience.

• Strong understanding of multi-state pharmacy regulations and compliance.

• BCNSP certification is a plus, but not required.

Compensation: $135K$140K + bonus for each additional state license obtained.
