Mail Order IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Salt Lake City, Utah

This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) with multi-state licensure who is ready to lead and grow a dynamic mail order compounding pharmacy based in Salt Lake City, UT. Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Pharmacist in Charge for a 503A non-sterile compounding mail order pharmacy currently filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily
• Provide leadership to a team of 4 pharmacists and 3 technicians
• Foster a positive workplace culture focused on growth and continuous improvement
• Maintain compliance with multi-state pharmacy laws and regulations across AL, AR, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MS, NE, OH, OR, TN, TX, VA, and WV licensure (ability to apply for UT licensure upon hire)
• Support the upcoming transition to a new 7,000 sq ft facility launching sterile compounding services and expanding capacity to 10,000 prescriptions per day
• Participate in training and ongoing monthly visits if operating remotely after initial in-person training

Desired Qualifications:

• Active multi-state pharmacy licenses as listed above
• Experience or strong familiarity with mail order pharmacy operations and 503A non-sterile compounding
• Understanding of sterile compounding practices (growth potential into this specialty)
• Proficient with Pioneer Rx system or similar pharmacy software
• Demonstrated leadership ability and organizational skills to support scaling and growth
• Positive attitude with a focus on mentoring and enhancing team performance
