IV Sterile Compounding IV Compounding Pharmacist in Charge in Tuscola, TX

This opportunity is designed for an experienced pharmacist ready to lead and expand their expertise in both sterile and non-sterile compounding. The position requires a licensed Texas pharmacist with a minimum of one year of experience and a willingness to obtain multiple state licenses over time. Ideal candidates will have prior experience as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) and demonstrate leadership qualities to manage and inspire a pharmacy team effectively.

Location:

• Based in Abilene, TX

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist in Charge
• Manage compounding of sterile and non-sterile medications adhering to safety and quality standards
• Lead and support pharmacy staff to ensure high-quality patient care
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
• Facilitate growth and development within the pharmacy team and role

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Texas Pharmacist License
• Experience with sterile and non-sterile compounding
• Minimum of one year of pharmacist experience
• Previous role as Pharmacist in Charge preferred
• Ability and commitment to acquire multiple state licenses as needed
• Strong leadership and team management skills
