IV Sterile Compounding IV Compounding Pharmacist in Charge in Tuscola, TX
This opportunity is designed for an experienced pharmacist ready to lead and expand their expertise in both sterile and non-sterile compounding. The position requires a licensed Texas pharmacist with a minimum of one year of experience and a willingness to obtain multiple state licenses over time. Ideal candidates will have prior experience as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) and demonstrate leadership qualities to manage and inspire a pharmacy team effectively.
Location:
- Based in Abilene, TX
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist in Charge
- Manage compounding of sterile and non-sterile medications adhering to safety and quality standards
- Lead and support pharmacy staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Facilitate growth and development within the pharmacy team and role
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Texas Pharmacist License
- Experience with sterile and non-sterile compounding
- Minimum of one year of pharmacist experience
- Previous role as Pharmacist in Charge preferred
- Ability and commitment to acquire multiple state licenses as needed
- Strong leadership and team management skills
