IV Sterile Compounding Mail Order Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - West Valley City, Utah

This direct hire opportunity is for a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a well-established mail order compounding pharmacy located in West Valley City, UT. The pharmacy specializes in 503A non-sterile compounding and is expanding soon with a new 7,000 sq ft facility scheduled to open in the fall, introducing sterile compounding services. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Multi-state pharmacist licensure required: AL, AR, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MS, NE, OH, OR, TN, TX, VA, WV
• Eligible to apply for UT licensure upon hire
• Experience in mail order pharmacy and sterile/non-sterile compounding
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and organizational skills to support growth
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx system preferred

Location:

• West Valley City, Utah (Salt Lake City area)
• Willingness to relocate or perform remote PIC duties with initial onsite training (4-6 weeks) and monthly visits required

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge overseeing daily operations of a busy compounding pharmacy
• Lead quality assurance and compliance for multi-state mail order compounding
• Manage a team including pharmacists and technicians within a positive culture environment
• Support operational scaling from 1,000 to projected 10,000 prescriptions per day with new facility opening
• Participate in sterile compounding implementation and expansion efforts

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
