A newly opened pharmacy within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) based near Lakeland, FL. This direct hire position offers an opportunity to lead pharmacy operations in a collaborative healthcare environment, emphasizing strong provider communication and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
• Manage and maintain compliance with the 340B drug pricing program
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Utilize Best Rx pharmacy system for operations and record-keeping

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Florida pharmacist license in good standing
• Prior experience working in an FQHC setting is essential due to the collaborative nature of the role
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to manage provider relationships effectively is critical
• Proven ability to lead and manage pharmacy staff
