Per Diem Outpatient Retail Pharmacist - Independence, MO

A per diem pharmacist position is available to provide essential retail pharmacy coverage in a closed-door pharmacy setting associated with a clinical environment. The role primarily supports sick time and paid time off coverage, with an initial assignment spanning select days in September and potential for additional coverage as needed.

Location: Independence, MO
Schedule:

• Monday Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• No weekends

Responsibilities:

• Verify and dispense prescriptions, averaging approximately 200 per day
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Utilize pharmacy management systems, with familiarity in ScriptPro preferred
• Deliver professional patient care in an outpatient retail setting linked to a clinic

Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Valid Missouri State Pharmacist License in good standing
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Certified Immunizer with Notice of Intent (NOI) filed with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy, authorizing administration of vaccines and prescription medications
• Experience in outpatient and retail pharmacy environments
