Travel Hospital Pharmacist - Iowa, Louisiana

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist with hospital experience to support a well-established 230-bed acute care hospital. This travel position offers flexibility with a variety of shift options and the chance to engage in a dynamic hospital pharmacy environment.

Location: Lake Charles, Louisiana

Schedule: Multiple shifts available, including varying day and evening shifts. Shift durations range from 8 to 12 hours with options such as:

• 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
• 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• 1:00 PM 9:00 PM
• 2:00 PM 10:00 PM
• 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
• 11:00 AM 9:00 PM
• 12:00 noon 10:00 PM
• 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
• 8:00 AM 8:00 PM

Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, collaborating closely with physicians and nurses for medication-related consultations, and managing pharmacokinetics to ensure optimal patient care. The hospital utilizes the EPIC electronic health record system, providing a comprehensive clinical platform for pharmacy operations.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Valid Louisiana Pharmacist license
• Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
