Inpatient Pharmacist | Irving, Texas

A healthcare facility in Irving, TX is seeking two inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract to hire opportunity starting November 9. This role offers the chance to apply your pharmacy skills in a dynamic hospital inpatient setting with a 450-bed capacity.

Schedule and Location:

• Days/Evenings shift working four 10-hour shifts per week (12:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.)
• Located in Irving, TX
• Contract to hire after 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties including hands-on and supervisory roles for pharmacy technicians
• Prepare and verify intravenous (IV) medications
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system effectively
• Operate automated dispensing tools such as Pyxis and Carousel
• Ensure compliance with hospital and safety standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience, including IV preparation
• Current pharmacist license valid in Oklahoma
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Experience with EPIC and automation systems preferred
• Open to first-time travel pharmacists; local candidates within 75 miles will not be considered
