A leading 300-bed childrens hospital in the Pittsburgh, PA area is seeking three experienced Travel Pharmacists to join their pharmacy team. The assignment begins ASAP and lasts 13 weeks or longer, with a variable shift schedule designed to meet the needs of the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient-specific drug therapies
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to provide expert pharmaceutical consultations
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records system to document and manage patient care

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania (PA pharmacist license required)
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience or completion of a residency program preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
• Comfortable working variable shifts and adaptable to changing schedules
