Pharmacist | Jamaica, New York

This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacist to serve as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) in a dynamic retail pharmacy setting. The role focuses on ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, along with providing expert guidance and counseling to customers regarding their prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently under the supervision of the pharmacy manager
• Counsel patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and adherence to prescribed regimens
• Maintain compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws and regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to optimize patient care

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current, clear, and active Pharmacist license valid in New York State
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience required
• Proficiency with Pioneer Rx software is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills for effective patient counseling
• Detail-oriented with commitment to medication safety and accuracy

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Full-time hours
