A hospital in need of a skilled Pharmacist with strong clinical expertise is seeking a qualified professional to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a community healthcare setting. Location:
- Kerrville, TX
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday day shifts with start times at 7 am, 8 am, or 9 am
- Coverage every 4th weekend
- Potential shift change to second shift (11:45 am to 10:15 pm, 10-hour shifts) possibleflexibility is essential
Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical pharmacy services, focusing on patient-centered medication management
- Collaborate with medical and nursing staff in a hospital environment to optimize medication use
- Support decentralized ICU services, providing specialized care to critically ill patients
- Utilize and navigate electronic health records and pharmacy technology, including Meditech, MedKeeper for IV preparation, and Omnicell systems
Qualifications:
- Active Texas pharmacist license
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience, ideally with ICU or decentralized clinical practice
- Strong clinical skills and ability to adapt to evolving shifts and schedules
- Familiarity with Meditech and pharmacy automation systems is preferred
