Travel Hospital Pharmacist | Kaukauna, Wisconsin

A travel opportunity is available for a Pharmacist at a 75-bed hospital in Medford, WI, offering a dynamic inpatient pharmacy environment. This role demands expertise in managing inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services, utilizing EPIC for order verification, and supporting a diverse patient population across multiple departments.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing various tasks within the central inpatient pharmacy, including verifying medication orders through EPIC, reviewing pharmacy technician work, and responding to pharmacist inquiries.
• Dispensing and managing inpatient and outpatient intravenous therapies, inpatient unit dose medications, and outpatient chemotherapy treatments.
• Supporting patient care across an inpatient census averaging 30-40, including units such as Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, emergency department, and outpatient oncology services.

Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with hospital and inpatient pharmacy experience.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Familiarity with chemotherapy preparation and handling preferred.

Schedule:

• Primarily 10-hour day shifts.
• Rotating weekend coverage consisting of 8-hour shifts.
